- Up and out. I don't see another play.
- I would opt for hitting because of the opp's blot on his ace point coupled with what would be stripping my midpoint and his outfield blot/builder.
- Again, I see no other play than both off the mid.
- What a funky position, I cube easily because I like cubing funky threatening looking/feeling positions. It could very well already be a pass or my opponent, being less familiar than I am with this sort of funk, will pass anyway.
As for the take, the take point at 5a 5a is lower than normal however the gammon value is heightened on a two cube which generally means a position with a *normal* amount of gammons turns out to be the same cube as it would be for money. Here the big issue is the taker has the open five point and two spares already pushed past it to ever fill it in. Can't take because of this.
- Hey, my favorite type of play, the dmp play! Having a massive racing lead, a reasonable chance of bringing this home without leaving any direct shots and gammons being worthless we need to safety our blot (forced) 18/10 and then I see no reason to give the opponent another man back and a chance to anchor deep so I'd fill in the gap on the 4pt.
- The bonus is common if you've ever seen it and easy.
