1) The ten point is never going to make a prime with the four point, so that blot isn't doing much for us. Meanwhile, on the other side of the board, the blot on the 22 is similarly poorly placed. 22/20 10/5 looks better than 22/17 10/8 so I'll go with that. The loose hit is tempting, what with the better board and better anchor which say "bold", but I'll stick with the quiet play and hope to capitalize on the race lead with her stuck on the deuce.

22/20 10/5

2) Slotting both GPs is classic (I think). Is it still right in the bot era? I guess I'll find out when the rollout is posted.

bar/20 9/5*

3) White's board is too strong to make me want to run off the anchor. The chicken play, 8/2 8/3, seems too weak. That seems to leave 13/8 13/7.

13/8 13/7

4) 6-4 backgames are terra incognito for me - don't recall ever playing one. White's takepoint at 5a 5a is lower than money, and a 6-4 backgame should deliver fewer gammons than most backgames, so maybe it's a take? If white hits a shot the cube vig is strong, so I'll say take. And since I'm not sure of the take I'll ship it as blue and make it white's problem.

D/T

5) Odd-away Crawford is basically DMP - gammons don't count against blue and don't do much for him either. 13/9*(2) is automatic. Then after another couple of fours blue will have such a commanding race lead that the five prime isn't as important as coming home without being hit. 18/10 is the "obvious" play but maybe making the four point or deuce point offers more long term safety. I'll make the four, although I'm not at all sure.

13/9*(2) 8/4(2)

bonus) This screams "trap play" Don't know if the GG score makes a difference, but I'm going with the trap play here.

8/7 6/2.
