I am assuming that this post made its way here because you disagree with his politics. I, like many, consider myself moderate and do not agree with everything that Bill posts.

That being said, it is difficult to argue that Bill is good for backgammon and has done a lot for the growth of the game in recent years. Bill, along with Tara, have best streaming efforts for backgammon worldwide. The Texas Backgammon Championships is one of the best run tournaments in the U.S., and PrimeTime Magazine is enjoyed by many.

I think Bill is a fine player as well. I've noticed that he's been putting up some great PRs against me lately, both online and in live matches I recorded when I played him at the Houston monthly tournament (which he directed for many years before announcing a short break). His recent PRs have been in the 3s, 4s, and sometimes 2s. Looking through my two (lol sample size but whatever) Grid matches against you, Adam, I would feel comfortable backing Bill in a "best of three" series of nine-point matches for $500. Will you be at the Chicago Open to partake?
