It is not clear to me what you mean by 'many'. For example, 10 such plays in a match might be described as 'many', but could still be small in relation to the total number of moves in a match, like around 200, I believe, for a typical 13 pointer. There is also the issue of how much XG is actually dinging these plays.

It seems to me that the main areas of concern for players are:

1) Where there is a big skill difference between the players. This will generally not be the case.

2) The avoidance of going into back games in general. The frequency of the desirability of going into a back game seems rather uncommon, if not quite rare.
