The bloated midpoint needs to be unstacked, and the runner can't move, so at the very least one should come down from the midpoint. 8/6 8/4 seems like too much of a chicken play.

13/11 6/2 minimizes shots but buries a checker while leaving three points stripped.

Bringing two down is most flexible, but leaves a bunch of shots.

13/7 dupes fours and seems to balance flexibility with minimizing shots. I'll play that.
