Very tempting to hit on two, slot ace from 5 and hit on 10.. every homeboard point slotted! How can it fail? :-)

But I suspect it is correct to hit on 10, make 6 and hit on 7. This will give opponent double 2 and double 3 to crack the prime in the first roll from the bar. More cracking numbers later if opponent just enters with one checker.
