I suppose the ultimate solution is for the tournament to provide the dice. (Numbered, to make it harder for cheaters to switch in their own.) At the start of a match, you pick up a set of sealed dice from the TD. Players open the dice together, mix them, play the match as usual, and return the dice when finished.

Of course that's just going to add to the cost of running a tournament if TD has to have on hand possibly a couple hundred pairs of precision dice.

Does ANYBODY believe that dice manipulation is really happening under our noses? I'd like to think that this story is very much an isolated one.
