2 indirects now gets hit as often as 6 directs next time. D3 gives a direct next time if you play safe now and 63 (if the oppt enters) does as well. That's about 1.6 directs, quite a ways from 6. The safe play also forces you to abandon the 6 point if the oppt enters and you roll 53 or 43 and makes your position a little more shot-prone if oppt dances and you roll 63,53,or 43. I doubt these considerations are enough of a factor to make paying now correct. 7/1 5/3 for me.
