I double because of the few great rolls and the static nature of the position: a few great rolls that make me want to have cubed, and the vast majority of the other rolls leaving me in essentially the same position as now. How do you say this? Medium-low upward volatility, very limited downward volatility. Usually you double these positions at the first opportunity.

Take, yes, for the reasons you mention. The take is clearer than the double.
