According to https://www.cpubenchmark.net/high_end_cpus.html the i7-12700K has a score of 34,811 while the Ryzen 9 7950X has a score of 63,619. These scores are consistent with the factor of (approximately) 2 improvement in rollout speed that you reported, so this is another data point suggesting that the PassMark score is a good predictor of rollout speed.

For another data point, my own machine has an i7-1165G7, with a score of 10,395. XG tells me it can do approximately 7.5 million positions/second on my machine, compared with your reported 22 million positions/second. Again, the PassMark score predicts about a factor of 3 improvement, which checks out pretty well.
