The 1 seems obvious: 5/4. For the 6, it's between 24/18 and 7/1. We're still behind in the pip count, so my first instinct is to stay back for more contact, but that straggler is also vulnerable to getting trapped and/or attacked. White's 8pt is stripped and our board is marginally better than White's at the moment, so I think 24/18 is better than dumping a checker the 1pt where it doesn't belong.
