It is not about checking with bot here. I just read again John's post: "... Robertie's rule for these kind of positions is that if you're down less than 3 crossovers, play safe (i.e. don't take an extra checker off if doing so forces a direct shot). If you're down 4 or more, play aggressively. If you're down 3, the decision's very close." Here blue is down one crossover so have to play safe.
