Jason points out: 'The total of reserve time plus overtime must not exceed the maximum reserve time allowed for the event type (see Parameter Options - Clock Settings below).'

This does seem to imply that - in any match where an extra minute or two is tagged on after a time out - the reserve time should be reduced by that amount.

Seems better to give a newbie - bravely playing with the big fishes - a 15 sec delay (along with his opponent of course) than this nonsense. If they time out then: well, tough titty. Live and learn.
