Our first priority is to escape last back checker. It will be much easier to do if we stop Stick to extend his growing prime. We can do that with tempo hit so 6/1* for the first part. For ace 24/23 is nothing play, it doesn't give direct escape route for our back checker but only gives hitting 6s from the bar for Stick. It could freeze Stick checkers at 8pt so he can't make next inner point in the line without bloting but it is minor theme here. 8/7 gives us covering six and produce fine builder anyway.
