The bigger issue than improving specific performance issues is that as Windows continue to update, produce new version and drop support for older versions someday XG will cease to function on any supported version of windows and if there is no developer to fix whatever issue is created by this change to Windows XG will cease to be an optional unless everyone that wants to use it keeps an outdated, unsupported, version of windows running somewhere.
