Wow!

A player once encouraged me - at some length - to let him buy me an alcoholic drink: I never drank when gambling. I gave in, however, having a single whisky. Before very long, I'd taken a cube to play a dodgily timed 1-2 back game, and got punished. Later, I couldn't believe I'd taken it, and went back to my old habit, which I've never broken since!
