Yes players walking away from lost matches is a problem. Some sites this seems to be a good strategy perhaps if you think you have played better in terms of PR? Hard to say why players just doesn't resign and move on to the next match.

Joining tournaments external and internal can help along with all the suggestions in Help/Incomplete matches (play less random opponents++).

But yes I guess I have to look into an automatic match resolve feature.
