It's a clever phrase, and it could catch on, but one disadvantage is that it won't be immediately understood. That is, the first time someone hears it, they will probably be confused and probably won't be able to guess what it means. (I assume that you mean voluntarily leaving a shot in your home board while bearing in or bearing off, when there is a safe alternative available? Does it count if the blot was already there before the dice were rolled? Hitting loose means creating a blot when you hit.)

Unfortunately, I don't have any alternative suggestions to offer.
