Unless I don't understand what means 2-ply, I don't get your point when you write " 11-6 seems logical . For whom : a human being or a trained bot ?

Even a beginner is taught to avoid a gammon (which will cost the match at this score) on the last move if there is one.

I am curious to know if at 2-ply, your software BGBlitz makes the same mistake or if it is an idiosyncrasy of XG2.
