If Stick escape with his last back checker we are dead so hit is mandatory. We have to play to win this game. It is not damage control mode when we try to lose less gammons as we can. After 13/10, 13/11 looks most natural. There is no reason to leave blot on mid point. It is true that aces are duplicated then but another builder on 11pt which aim on 5pt and still on 9pt is fine. Only advantage with blot on midpoint will be hitting 4s if Stick step at our 9pt from the bar but gain from securing that blot is greater IMHO.
