If we don't hit, the only plausible candidate is 13/7 11/7, but that doesn't seem better than 11/5*, knocking White off our 5pt when we have the better board and a potential blitz. The question is whether to hit twice with 5/1*, or bring another checker into the zone with 13/9, or split with 24/20. I don't like splitting since we have no urgent need to split, and both 5/1* and 13/9 are more in keeping with the blitzing (or possibly even priming) game plan. I think I'll go with 13/9, bringing a 10th checker into the zone. 5/1* seems a bit committal when we have only 9 checkers in the zone, and it's not that easy to cover. 13/9 leaves more return shots but if we're not hit, the upside is greater.
