Start with a shuffled deck with all 52! arrangements equally likely. Your goal is to guess when the next card is red. You could guess immediately and have a .5 chance. Or you could pass on a turn and then see that card which is then discarded. You could pass on as many cards as you wish. What is the optimal strategy?
