In Response To: Perry Gartner (Jake Jacobs)

First, I want to say that I have always liked and respected Jake and I am extremely sad that he has felt this way about our failed business venture. I am even more disappointed that he chose to make his allegations of wrongdoing in public rather than to me in private, as I have always enjoyed and been proud of my reputation as an honest and honorable person, and I know that many people who don’t know me well may be influenced by Jake’s statements.

Second, I want to categorically deny any wrongdoing or misleading, or improper, or in any way unethical, actions on my part. It was a failed business investment that my daughter and I worked very hard to save for the benefit of our investors and ourselves. We were victims of the 2007-2008 banking crunch and were unable to sufficiently replace the line of credit we had with the bank that ended our relationship because of the straits they were in.

Lastly I am seeking professional legal advice as to legal action I may consider as a result of Jake’s denigration of my character. Because of the potential for future legal action I don't believe this is the appropriate forum to rebut each and every unseemly allegation.
