Not going to leave a direct shot. So, the choice seems to be either clear 6pt, or 21/16 6/3. Clearing 6pt has advantage of more contact and 16, 3 has advantage of better board (which may be a difference between double out and D/T) when we hit a shot. As far as the number of shots goes, 16 and 3 gains huge when White's next roll is 63, 54, 22, or big on 11. 44 is neutral and pretty much everything else favors staying back, especially when White's next roll is 62, 53, 64, 65, 55. It seems to me staying back is our best bet even if we still have some work to do after we hit White's straggler.
