6/4(2) is usually easily correct. Can 24/23 8/7(2) 6/5 be better here? I looked at it, I thought about it, and I don't like it. Trading 8 point for 7 point is a minor improvement. Diversifying 6/5 is a mediocre improvement, I'd say. Although 24/23 steps up to see the light, I don't feel like it is big improvement either because those somewhat awkward placed spares on White's 6 and 5 point now have a juicer target. I like my chances in a priming battle here and I will stick to the priming plan. 6/4(2) for me.
