OTB, I flee. Get a checker out, hopefully survive hiding back on the ace, if hit hopefully enter with an anchoring number. Stay flexible up front.

But none of the plays look horrible to me, so I'm not seeing it.

8/3 6/3 is OK, and maybe can run next turn. Not very flexible on spares (all on the 13), running 6s would probably be blocked next play and not play well. Checker out of play on the ace is bad for priming. But four checkers on the 13 is decent timing and we won't be attacked this turn. IMO not bad.

Possibly OTB I split into those stacks and cover the ace. But it puts our nose right where he wants to punch. So I run 24/16 , 'split and run'. If we throw an entering five its probably blocked so we'd cover the ace then.

Long winded way to admit I don't know either.
