I was so excited to see Nack posting puzzles again...

Well, I can't let your enthusiasm go wholly unrewarded.

By someone with more artistic talent than myself, it might well be possible to create a puzzle where a coconut appears to get "lost" by virtue of there being one less coconut than there was a moment ago, without appearing to have actually taken it away.

I am reminded of one of Sam Loyd's most famous puzzles. The video linked below does a good job of illustrating it and explaining it.
