I tend to prefer when the commentary booth is comprised of one "color guy" for fun and a world class level player to really get into the nuts and bolts of things.

Larry and Phil are both solid players (congrats to Larry for earning Master Class III in NY!) and can function as color commentators fine. The final, as well as the Joey Issa-Wilcox Snellings semi-final from the night before could've used a Kit or Dana or Trencher or Victor or [insert GM here] to add some technical stuff.
