This exact position is in my upcoming book.

For once, we should anchor instead of hitting back after opp hit us in our outfield.

Depending on what position we compare it to, a few different things stand out.

When we compare this position to if our roll were 54: - Our back-checker locations (not least the location of the checker that is not part of the anchor) after anchoring are excellent - After hitting and getting hit back (common sequence), we "only" have good fours and sixes from the roof. After hitting with 54, we are better diversified than that.

And just in general: - Opp's checker is on his 16pt, not his 15 or 14 where his race would be better and playing safely in the future would have been easier for him
