What you say is correct, but it does not explain what I am seeing. There's no way that the vast majority of posts here get only a few dozen views, while a small number get 300 or 400 views, if "views" really means human beings clicking on the post to read it. (I could understand 400 views for a post that is click-baity or scandalous in some way, but that's not the case here.)

My first guess is that there's some kind of bot or webcrawler that is hitting those posts for some random reason. Second guess is that there's some glitch in the server software that BGOnline is using.
