This is one of those positions that could, potentially, hold up the tournament! Of course, both players might be trying to enter a five point board for example, but this is different as entry from only one player is inevitable, whereas the other cannot move.

There's a 5.4% chance he would not enter within 8 rolls, and the odds of a 16 roll failure is only about 340/1. (How often does shit like that seem to happen?) It's not inconceivable that the TD could require that the player roll a single die (still on the clock, of course) to determine whether or not he enters with double aces. If a single ace then the process could continue until they had no pieces left to enter.

In fact, the players could agree that he simply does this from the start - or would that be modifying the Rules, which is illegal?! It seems to me it would be within the spirit of the Rules, and potentially in the interests of the tournament. Not many positions could create this kind of issue!
