My first instinct was to make the 4 point. On the plus side for 7/4 6/4 is that has 8 rolls to make the 5th inner board point vs 5 rolls after 8/5 7/5 and also unstacks the heaviest point.

However in addition to the downside of making points out of order it gives opponent 8 numbers to hit an outfield blot instead of 6 numbers, and the 55 it leaves is more harmful than the 44 from making the 4 point. If hit have a second blot.

The additional 3 rolls to make the inner board point are not as valuable as they might be due to duplicating numbers to step up to an escape point with the back checker.

My play is 8/5 7/5.
