We consider three scenarios:

1. First roll you roll a 61 and jump out. Probability is 2/36
2. First roll you roll a 1 but not 61. Probability is 9/36 and the average number of rolls to jump out from the edge is 36/11
3. First roll you do not roll a 1 at all and start over. Probability is 25/36

Considering the above the average number of rolls can be calculated as:

E=2/36*1+9/36*(1+36/11)+25/36*(1+E). Solving for E yields: E=720/121
