Two plays: Splitting b/24 b/22, and making b/24(2) 8/7(2).

I would definitely play 7(2) OTB, and the quiz factor is not enough to make me change my mind here. The split putting pressure on whites blots may look clever, but I don't think it buys that much. If we get to hit something, white is well in the game anyway. The split may make it easier to escape, but even after the solid play white has some work to do in cleaning up, and making the prime. OTOH the 7 point is a solid asset for now and the future, and this might be our only chance to make it conveniently.
