Having second thoughts doesn’t hurt.

Look at these two variants where the White blot is still there, but there is a 4th door (the 3 point) in the White’s home board.

As I mentioned, now the mobility of the Blue rear checkers is seriously reduced, so playing 13/7 8/7, i.e. a prime against prime (because White homeboard is henceforth more of a prime) is from now on the new game plan.
