Tough one. All other things being equal, we'd naturally like to leave fewer shots, but White's offensive position, while strong, is not so strong that we need to minimize shots at all costs. So I don't think that 8/6 4/1 is right; it leaves fewer immediate shots but still leaves us with two outfield points that are tough to clear. I'd go with 13/4, "clearing from the rear" so to speak, but without much confidence. The 11pt is potentially harder to clear, being 6 pips away from White's anchor, so there's an argument for clearing it. If Blue's spare on his 4pt were instead a blot on his 2pt, then I'd definitely play 11/2, but in the actual position, 11/2 doesn't look so attractive.
