My guess is that "the" rollout does not exist. The Kazaross-XG2 MET was probably computed using the same method you used, except that for some rolls, they may have used rollouts with stronger settings than were used for the XG book.

I'm not sure what I would have predicted for the win percentages. Both players are prepared to sacrifice some wins for the sake of winning (or avoiding losing) a gammon. I would expect that these two tendencies would largely (though not necessarily completely) cancel out. Your calculation bears this out, although apparently the 2a player's predicted winning percentage is a hair over 50%.
