If blue rips one then the worst case scenario is getting hit and being close out on the bar with 13 off. That's like 90% GWC. OTOH, if blue hits there are additional gammons to be had so it might be worth the risk - if white hits two the game is basically lost. I'd take the sure thing and play 6/3 1/off.

That said, I've never faced a 9a-96a score with the cube at 32 and doubt I ever will. What happened that motivated white to re-whip an 8 cube at 9a-96a?
