If we do this, we don't leave a 17 to 1 shot only for this turn. We leave it again if we roll an escaping number next, since escape is our priority. We also leave it again if we get hit and fan (which apparently was what was wrong with our play yesterday, though I think I'd still make it OtB), or roll a "Rooting" 6 from the bar...or even if we roll a small pointmaker next, making the 4 without using or safetying the blot.

I'm a fan of clever plays but this time I'm going to decline, and make the boring play of 8/2 [yawwwwn]
