I'm reminded of positions such as 64S-52 where the bot says to hit 6/1*, in part to gain a tempo to hit the blot on the 18pt. That makes me think that from the 64S player's point of view, the idea should be to gain a tempo to prevent our 18pt blot from being hit. So 9/4*/1* is my first candidate. Alternatively, we could play safely with 18/13 9/6, which looks ugly but is also logical, since we're up in the pip count. I'd play 9/4*/1* OTB but I can believe that 18/13 9/6 might be better.
