Well, if slotting the back of the prime and exposing a direct shot is too risky, then perhaps a Goldilocks play like 13/10 6/5 or 13/12 8/5 would be better than the safe play of 8/6 8/5. Don't leave a direct, but give more rolls that make the full prime.

Not sure, and Walt wouldn't approve if I changed my play now.
