I wouldn't go for it. We have good gammon chances at the moment, but getting hit reduces our gammon chances significantly, since we're not a favorite to pick up that third checker. Even if we do pick up the third checker, the gammon isn't in the bag since White will have entered at least one checker by then. 6/off 6/5 for me.
