Not the best roll

In this position do not reverse the rule, “roll the prime from behind” with ”dismantle the prime from the front”, by playing 5/4*, 5/2.
It is a subtle blunder.
The top priority is avoiding to have the white checker at the foot of our prime. By playing 5/4*, 5/2, we allow white to reach the 5 point with 15 rolls before possible final deliverance with all 6s.
By playing 7/6, 7/4*, it doesn’t matter whether we are hit or double hit, these checkers will recirculate. What matters is that white will never be at the edge of the prime, whatever she rolls.
