Is there such a thing as a "midpoint holding game"?

I've always thought of these midpoint-barpoint games as holding games. Usually, the midpoint-holding player is ahead in the race and is just trying to slip past, but that's not the case here.
Maybe the right idea is to force a shot by playing 13/5, but I don't have the stones for that and it looks like there are enough rolls that force white off the anchor that volunteering a shot is not necessary. I'll remake the six point with 8/2 8/6. 61 62 64 and 65 play poorly and most other rolls further destroy what's left of her board.
Playing off the ten looks good too, but I prefer remaking the six even though it buries one on the ace.
