Definition of banana split

Backgammon Galore! defines a banana split as follows: "To hit loose by breaking a point in your home board, thereby leaving two blots."
Here, you're not breaking a point in your home board (or any point for that matter), so it doesn't count as a banana split.
It's a little closer to Michy's double tiger play, but I believe that a double tiger requires a double hit, which again isn't the case here.
