In Response To: rules question / Answer by new A.I. bot, the 'Backgammon Rules Assistant (Sebalotek)

The incident occurred in Cyprus some years ago. Today, the WBGF has aligned rules with most backgammon countries/federations in the world, including USBGF. I encourage you to consider the WBGF rules as those are the closest thing to global rules we have. As for the bot answer to my question, I don't think it solves the problem. Calling the TD would not help as the opponent would likely be done with his calculations when the TD arrives at the board. Also, it is not possible to immediately call the TD because some time would need to pass before it is clear that the opponent is stalling.

What is the purpose of the rules bot? Is it to eventually replace rules committees at tournaments?
