Backgammons aren't important in most gammonish cube decisions since they usually only occur 1-3% of the time. This position is an exception since White has 5 blots and a checker on the roof. When things go badly, White might get 4 or more closed out or end up with a massive ace or deucepoint game with 4-6 checkers on the anchor/roof. Lots of g's of course and a decent number of bg's as well. Looks like a pass.
