Which advantage do you choose?

Let me word the choice better than Bob.

Choice 1: I can win the opening roll in the first game with a 31,

or

Choice 2: I can win the opening roll in any game with a 42.

Give me Choice 1 so I can stop thinking about it and not worry about screwing it up later. Bob already pointed out that waiting means you might lose your chance to use this advantage.

Here's another problem with choice 2: Holding onto the advantage affects cube decisions. For example, if you have a close take decision and taking it would be for the match, you might want to drop because your match equity from dropping would be slightly higher holding this advantage. How much higher? I don't know, and that's what could mess me up.

Even if your take decision is not for the match, it still affects things, because you might HAVE to send the cube over for the match, and you could be forced to lose your advantage.
