The usual 55 reply is to blitz if hitting on the ace or three, but play 13/3(2) otherwise. Does score make a difference?

Gammon values are elevated, and a doubled gammon wins the match for blue. Does white's elevated takepoint AtS due to the gammon values mean blue should sandbag?

Doesn't seem right to me and other than QF I can't see a good reason to not blitz. 8/3(2) 6/1*(2)
