Depends on the match length. In a one point match option 1 adds about 5.1% and option 2 adds 0.

For a long match each is both a single move so not much of a boost above 50%. For an 11 point match I estimate 51.14% using choice 1 and 50.86% using choice 2. How those numbers were obtained is left as an exercise.
